Mizz (she/they) is an award winning Malaysian filmmaker and musician. In 2023, her original music video To My Love (TML) won Best First Time Director and Best Asian Music Video at the Prague International Sound Music Awards. TML also won four other awards and became the finalist for other major international music festivals.

Mizz has also acted in several films including Everything Goes Dark, which recently became an official selection at the BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival, as well as Compulsion, which premiered at the SOHO Film Festival.

One of her life’s passions is to create art focused on inclusion and diversity as well as constructing safe spaces for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists. Throughout her life, she has travelled around the world, including to Kuala Lumpur, London, and New York, hoping to bridge cultural gaps in order to cultivate more empathy and understanding within others.
